Made in Hollyweird is the 14th U.S. solo album by musician extraordinaire Arthur Mountaniol. As Hollyweird as it gets, this work was inspired by his personal 20-year experience of living and working in Hollywood, CA, from 1998 to 2018.

 

Like all his previous releases, this one, too, does not completely fall into any particular genre of music and is an amalgamation of many, such as hard rock, funk, punk jazz, psych & lo-fi, with some grotesque vocals and innovative guitar sounds.

 

Made in Hollyweird was entirely made by Arthur Mountaniol, absolutely everything, from writing the songs to performing all the vocals and instruments to programming all the drums and samples to designing the album artwork. And he also produced all the tracks.

 

The album has 9 songs and 1 instrumental. Satirical in nature, the songs tell the stories of delusional people with funky looks, behaviors, and ideas who hang around in Los Angeles, trying to make it big in Hollywood. And there’s something of pure fantasy and imagination here as well.
